Priorities of vocational training of the state and municipal employees

Abstract

The items, connected with the priorities of state and municipal employees' professional education, are considered in the article. The authors defines the priorities at the assumption that Russian educational system should be oriented to the solution of the problems, having strategical signi-ficance for our country. The main problems of contemporary russian educational system are described in the article, the authors present also some ways of overcoming these problems. It is the authors' point of view that the most important element of reorganization of higher education is the conversion to the two level system - Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Different models of the higher professional education development are discussed in the article, but the question which is the most preferable - model of competence or model of fundamental education, the authors' consider to be open.
