The competence and structure of Saint-Petersburg intraurban municipal entity executive-administrative agencies

Abstract

The questions concerning competence and structure of Saint-Petersburg intraurban municipal executive - administrative entities are considered. Detailed description of the specific features of organization of the local self-government in Saint-Petersburg as a city of federal significance is given. It is noted that the system of public power, existing in the city, needs improvement of regulatory legal background, and as well in the development of collaborative mechanisms between already existing institutions of public power, aimed to improve citizen's quality of life and to provide more qualitative public services to the population. The methods and tools of such improvement are described.
