Theoretical bases and key technologies of higher educational institution knowledge management system development

Abstract

The main concepts and approaches to the higher educational institution knowledge management system development are considered in the article. It is stated that the crucial points in question are information-communication technologies, which allow to transform knowledge in action most effectively. Knowledge management system architecture is considered including the detailed description of its elements. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the clue technologies of the knowledge management systems, to which the author refers the corporate knowledge portal and decision support systems (DSS). The detailed DSS classification is described. It is stated that the considered higher educational institution knowledge management system technologies finally should contribute to the development of the true founded programmes of the modern higher educational institution development.
