Abstract

Geopolitical contradictions existing between Russia and the West in the aerospace sphere are investigated in the article; as well as the role of the aerospace forces is described. The author connects the existence of the contradictions of such type with the desire of the USA to provide their absolute strategic domination in the world, and considers modernization of the aerospace defense as countermeasures with regard to various basic factors: military, geopolitical, economical, scientific, and technical.
