Problem of Management of Regional Economy with Estimation of its State

Abstract

The authors made attempts to formulate the mathematical problem of regional economy management with the state estimation, and to trace the methods of its solution. The types of production functions have been specified in the paper, via which the relations are expressed between the well-known macroeconomic indices, namely: regional gross domestic product, regional fixed assets, human resources, technological progress, and consumption funds. Investigations have been provided with the help of the macroeconomic models which use two approaches. The first one suggests to consider regional economy as an integrated homogeneous system, the second one proposes to divide economy into enlarged groups - sectors.
