Revolutionary Codification of the Legislation of RSFSR (20-s - 30-s of XX century)

Abstract

In the article all the stages of codification development in the RSFSR legislation in 20-s - 30-s of the XX century are described in detail in historical perspective. The author provides a retrospective study of codification activities, noting at the same time that having been extremely ideology-driven they had very high organizational level. On the author's opinion, that valuable experience would be worth using while conducting codification activities, that have been performed in Russia from the middle of 1990-s, but at the same time they are essentially inferior in quality to the analogous activities, realized in the first years of the Soviet power.
