Abstract

The article considers the problems of the transition of Russia to the Bologna system of education. A critical analysis of history, essence and content of the Bologna process is provided. Special attention is paid to the influence of Anglo-Saxon model of education upon the Bologna process, its benefits and charges in relation to the Russian educational tradition are examined.
