State Information Policy and the System of Training of the Specialists for Public Relations

Abstract

The article examines the main stages and features of the training system for specialists in public relations to work in public and municipal administration. Stages are defined due to the trends in the State Information Policy of the Russian Federation, in the professional institute of public relations, in the educational system. Special attention is paid to the department of public relations of the North-West Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration as one of the main institutions for training such specialists in St. Petersburg.
