Abstract

The article considers the problem of the relation of the people and the government and its particular solution in satire of E. Zamyatin on the material of his political «Fairy Tales» of 1917–1919. Writer, referring to the tradition of folk comic culture shows utopianism of political ideology and revolutionary promises, opposition of national consciousness to Bolshevik power.
