On the Question of Religion Politicization in the RussianFederation: Modern Threats and Modernization

Abstract

The factors of politicization of religion and their possibility to influence the modern political process are investigated in this article.The author considers the issue of using a religious factor as a way of decreasing influence of the Russian Federation in the Caucasus and its replacement from the region. Much coverage is devoted to the modernization of a North Caucasian society as a necessary condition of stabilization of political relations.
