Abstract

The author examines the success and misfortunes of the 2nd Labour Government concerning the establishment of the system of collective security under the League of Nations. The “proLeague” policy of Foreign secretary A.Henderson and Primeminister J. Ramsay MacDonald presented an attempt to convert the theory of international organization into political practice.
