Abstract

The article is devoted to the role of Russian and Bulgarian political elites in the formation of independent Bulgarian state, the main documents, created by Russian administration before the beginning of Russian-Turkish war 1877–1878 and the activity of Russian temporary administration in Bulgaria are analyzed.
