Abstract

This article surveys the problems of energy and power management in the agricultural sector of country and it’s region. The Republic of Mari El is an object of study. In the article the agricultural potential of the region is estimated. Different features of agro-industrial complex (AIC) of the territory and the prospects for its develop-ment are also revealed. A list of factors that affect the energy loss while ensuring the needs of the agricultural sector and the potential of using renewable energy sources are also marked in the research.
