Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analyising the role of local self–government in the development of Russian civic culture. Under consideration it puts an issue of development of Russian political culture in connection with democratic transitions held and possibility of application of G. Almond and S. Verba civic culture theory in Russian current conditions.
