Abstract

In the article the condition of the Russian historiography and a problem of preservation of a cultural heritage are analyzed. The main historiography stages, important aspects of a subject, degree of their study, debatable questions are characterized. The main attention is paid to illumination of a problem of protection of a cultural heritage in works of the last decades.
