Customs Officers’ Workload Management Improvement by Means of Automation the Customs Value Control

Abstract

The contradiction between the quality and the speed of customs control operations is most of all seen at the level of the customs posts, which work is complicated by variations in goods traffic. Overloads, that take place in this context, affect the acting of customs officers’ duties adversely. In order to create the conditions that improve the quality and speed of the customs control, workload management amendment by means of automation one of the most complex operations, which is customs value control, is suggested.
