Peculiarities of Indian Foreign Policy in the Context of U. S.-India Relations

Abstract

The purpose of the article: analysis of the U. S.-India dialogue development through the prism of peculiarities of Indian foreign policy mentality. The hypothesis of the article is the following statement: value-based foundation of bilateral U. S.-India relations is truly a key component of successful strategic partnership of Washington and Deli. In accordance with the above stated purpose, the following tasks are accomplished: firstly, the analysis of Indian foreign policy principles through the main factors, which influenced their formation; secondly, verification of the fundamental significance of the value-based foundation in U.S.- India relations.
