Abstract

The Mass Media Laws imposes several illegitimate journalist international activity restrictions, due to special role of media in the international politics. Legal status of the actors in international journalism is the issue of international law and state legislation on freedom of expression. The accreditation of foreign correspondents in the Russian Federation shall be done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in accordance with Articles 48 and 55 of the Russian Federation Law on Mass Media unless otherwise provided by the international treaties of the Russian Federation.
