Conditions of Baltic Students Adaptation in Saint Petersburg: Status and Prospects

Abstract

At the moment, the situation in the Baltic States with receiving of higher education in Russian increasingly aggravated that makes young people wishing to continue their studies at the university to turn their attention to other countries. And often it becomes Russia. Graduates of Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian schools become students of the St. Petersburg Universities due to geographical proximity, due to opportunity to be trained in their native language and to be trained free of charge on the allocated quotas. In connection with this topic of Baltic youth adaptation, their readiness to remain in Russia and after the training to contribute to the development of our country, it becomes extremely important.
