Abstract

The article discusses the political views of the Black Hundred unions and organizations on the issue of representative government. On the basis of archival materials analyzed position right-wing conservative forces of Tsarist Russia on this issue. The conclusion, according to which, despite some variation in relation to the institution of the Black Hundreds of popular representation, in general, it was antagonistic and opposed political modernization of Russia.
