Modeling of Choosing of University for Entrants

Abstract

The article considers the behavior of the entrant when choosing university. The problem of choice the university is relevant to the entrants wishing to pursue higher education. The decision must be taken in conditions of uncertainty, so the entrant has to consult and listen to the recommendations of persons to whom he trusts (parents, relatives, friends of family, teachers). To build a model of behavior of the entrant used a mathematical model, based on the method of paired comparisons Terstone. In this article, experts, comparing universities, give preference to those that are more suitable for level and aspirations of the entrant.
