On Some Innovations in Approach to Modernisation of Education in Russia and other States of CIS

Abstract

Paying tribute to attention and big efforts of Russia and other states of the CIS in modernization of national education, it should be noted at the same time its insufficient focus and systemacity, a certain discretization of the undertaken measures and, as a result, insufficient productivity. Therefore the problem of the considered modernization keeps the high relevance still. Authors of article in this regard offer a new look at approach to modernization, to concentrate attention on increase in that of the system beginning. As a backbone factor of modernization of education in article its mission, “the purpose which is constantly operating” nowadays - comprehensive assistance to formation of the identity of the adult demanded by modern society of the states of the Commonwealth is considered, in fact. As that the personality capable versatile and continuously to develop is positioned, will optimum gain independence and to self-actualize in various spheres of the activity, harmonizing in this process own interests with interests of society and promoting that it scientifically - to technological and all-humanitarian in general progress. As key in fact characteristics of such personality her general education, positive moral in the relations with itself, the nature, society, production and high professionalism reveal in their interrelation and interaction. These characteristics are positioned at the same time as key “constantly operating” now education purposes in the states of the Commonwealth so difficult and large-scale that for their successful achievement it is necessary to mobilize all educational capacity of society as in traditional, formal, and in non-formal and informal education. In line with the competent and consecutive efforts directed on achievement of these purposes in the course of modernization also the updated, wider and ordered context of consideration and the solution of many other problems of the general and professional education which collected in various states of the Commonwealth in relation to its different spheres, subsystems and levels can be formed.
