Assessment of Efficiency and Forecasting of Competitiveness of the Leading Russian Universities on the Basis of a Method of Calculation of Indicators of Monitoring of an Education System

Abstract

The modern economy is characterized by the high level of globalization and competition which cover many areas of economy, including the sphere of the higher education. High competitiveness of educational services determines the potential of development of all branches of economy therefore researches of an assessment and forecasting of competitiveness are actual. An object of research is competitiveness and efficiency of the Russian higher education institutions. A research objective is the assessment and forecasting of competitiveness of universities on the basis of a technique of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for calculation of indicators of monitoring of an education system. According to this purpose problems of an assessment of competitiveness of leading universities by means of a method of main component and forecasting of places in a rating of universities are solved by method of the regression analysis.
