Sustainable Forest Management as the Fundamental Principle of Forestry Management in Russian Federation

Abstract

The article considers the problem of the content and different forms of realization of the principle of sustainable forest management as a fundamental principle of Forestry management as an element in the system of state Forestry Administrating and the significant aspect of the state Forestry policies. Article analyzes criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management in Russian Federation. The structure of State Forestry Administrating in Russian Federation is investigated.
