Social Capital as a Basement of Scandinavian Social Community (Considering Sweden and Denmark as an Example)

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the problem of current interest: to the so called «new religious movements» (NRM). The author's give a definition of the concept of NRM, specifying the difference between the term NRM and such terms as «sect», «cult», etc. In the article the classification scheme of new religious movements is developed that allows to determine the criterion by means of which the state can define its attitude to different NRM. The classification was used for characterization of religious movements in the Leningrad Region.
