Social Capital as a Basement of Scandinavian Social Community (Considering Sweden and Denmark as an Example)

Abstract

In the article social capital is considered as one of the key signs, responding to perception of the Scandinavian countries citizens about themselves as historically unique type of social community, with specific cultural and political features of social life. The author notes that Scandinavian model of the social community in spite of some drawbacks (levelling character of the income distribution, suppression of economical initiative) provides really high standard of life and social security to the typical representative of citizens of the Scandinavian Peninsular.
