Abstract

The article examines the role of science and education in the country's modernization, the formation of an innovative economy in Russia. Special attention is paid to the objectives and place of the North-West Academy of Public Administration (NWAPA) in the new higher education institution "The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration".
