Abstract

In the article examined folded in Russian cultural tradition and Russian philosophy methods of attitude toward the phenomenon of catastrophes. An author determines basic archetypes in the light of that there is perception of catastrophes in consciousness of the Russian people. The special consideration the peculiar to is exposed to Russian philosophy apocalyptic vision of history and ensuing from him understanding of catastrophes.
