Abstract

The notions and sources of Ukrainian paternalism are investigated in the article. The range of expression of this phenomenon is quite wide, but it acquires an especially important reflection in the administrative sphere, where its substantial cpecificity is revealed. A retrospective analysis shows that it is Ukrainian paternalism that performs the fundamental feature of ethnic mentality, and consequently it makes the basis of traditions of national government.
