Cultural Turn in War Research in Russia

Abstract

The article focusses on the cultural turn in the war studies being shaped in Russia at the turn of XX and XXI centuries. It analyzes prerequisites for appearing such phenomenon, defines its significance for better knowiedge of the war. Great attention is drawn to understanding of the military culture and military anthropology as the key forms of this cultural turn.
