Abstract

The role of local governments in the system of innovative development management of local communities was defined. The problems of local governments in the process of innovation development areas were determined. The functions of local government in the process of innovation development areas were investigated. The use of a corporate approach to the construction of a model of innovative development and the creation of a new coordinating institution for innovation in the territory was provided.
