Prospects of Economic Development of Regions of Russia: Problem of Choice

Abstract

This article is devoted to the actual economic problems taking place in the Russian economy. Along with noncompetitiveness of the Russian goods serious disproportions in development of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation are observed. Theories of regional development testify to existence of different approaches in the solution of problems of uniform/uneven growth of regions of Russia. For modern Russian conditions realization of model of “unbalanced” growth is represented to the most adequate.
