Abstract

The article is devoted to the activity of P. A. Modzhuginsky, the third ober-priest of the Army and Navy in the history of Russian Armed Forces, his natural career promotion anddramaticdepositionto level of the hieromonk of there mote monastery. The short period of service of P. A. Modzhuginsky on the post of the Army and Navy ober-priest is marked by development of the instructions for military clergy, increase in number of the officeand some regulation of the cultparty of military service for Jews.
