Dumping Investigations of The European Commission and World Trade Organization - the Tunnel with the Double-sided Movement

Abstract

The article reviews WTO and EC’s practice in antidumping investigations in regard to companies, including the Russians ones, which use instruments of prices and tariffs forming trying to achieve a competitive advantage in foreign trade market. The further text describes the procedure of investigation as key stage of antidumping process, where the plenipotentiary organ search legally obtained evidences from stakeholders, listen their facts and pronounce judgment on affair. The article also discussed the main organizational problems and juridical/technical difficulties in gathering special information for the economic analysis, which WTO’s and the European Commission’s organs must dissect.
