Labor Movement: Sides of Social Activity (1989-1991)

Abstract

As a result of the strike movement on the arena of political life of the country there was a new social subject. His own common interests different from interests of other classes and social groups began to be made out, to be formed the general values, unity of actions and feeling of solidarity. During strikes the political and economic organizations of workers which are quickly solving complex problems of production, social and political character were created. Prompt, radical updating of the labor unions which decided to quit a state and bureaucratic control system and declared social protection of workers as the main function began. During the strike movement the working class showed new sides of the social activity.
