Abstract

The paper highlights that the current drug trafficking from Afghanistan is a complicated issue, closely linked to terrorist activities in Central Asia which poses a real threat to Russia’s national security. The authors evaluate the effectiveness of the state anti-drug policy of the Russian Federation and elaborate proposals for the system of political, military and law enforcement measures to regulate it in the medium term.
